These prove ever-popular at Craft Fairs, Christmas
Fairs and the like. The Banksia nut ones act as a projector
when the candle is lit - as the flame moves around, so the light
plays and makes patterns on nearby surfaces. One of the greatest
advantage of making these is that they're often made from offcuts
of timber that would have otherwise been wasted. I'm a firm
believer in using as much of the wood as possible and as you
can see, small pieces can still show you the beauty of the wood.
